2024 Community Thanksgiving Dinner
The 20th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner will take place at St. Vincent of Paul Church hall on Kanady Street on November 28th, 2024. There will be a social hour beginning at 1pm & dinner will be served at 2pm.
Twenty years ago, a few residents decided to begin this Community tradition for residents of Cape Vincent without extended families in the North Country. The committee was formed, funds raised and a menu was planned. Volunteers came forward and here we are! Through the years the menu has maintained its high standards & is topped off with dozens of donated pies! (Huge Thanks!)
Thanks to the generous people in our Community many donations to our local bank, “Gouverneur Savings & Loan” are made every year. This makes the day extra special and no cost to any ones pocket.
Through the years many families, teens, couples & individuals have volunteered their services. We have served active military, new residents, seniors, couples and singles. It is a wonderful way to meet people and be part of a truly beautiful event.
To prepare enough food, we do request reservations before Saturday, November 23rd.
