Friday, September 27th – The Oktoberfest event committee is happy to announce a Keg Tapping Party! The pre-Oktoberfest event will take place on the Village Green, 357 Broadway from 6-9:00PM. The rockin’ sounds of Ben Wisner and Full Circle will be shaking things up as revelers get to enjoy a taste of Oktoberfest. Admission to the keg tapping is FREE with an advanced Oktoberfest ticket (no need to purchase both tickets)! Can’t come on Saturday? The tix for the Keg Tapping Party are only $5!
Saturday, September 28th The Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 16th Annual Cape Vincent Oktoberfest from noon until 5 pm. An Autumn Farmers and Crafters Market will compliment a Beer Garden, featuring samples of authentic German beer and tastings from a New York State winery. The popular Bavarian Band from Syracuse, NY will be performing German songs and dancing. There will be a beer stein race with cash prizes. Food for the day will feature a wide variety of traditional Bavarian fares: including pretzels, bratwurst, sauerkraut, braised red cabbage, German potato salad, apple strudel and Hoffman hot dogs sold by the Cape Vincent Fire Department on the Village Green.
